Mexico has always been a part of our story. 🇲🇽 Let me explain... It was 2013 and I worked with Jenny for about a year, before I realized she was hitting on me. 🤔 I know it sounds crazy, I always saw her as very attractive and she seemed "cool". I separated personal life from work and never entertained work relationships. 🚫 Jenny's boss, and good friend, Melissa was one of my work clients. On Cinco de Mayo of 2013, Melissa was organizing an outing at the SLS Hotel on South Beach and she invited me along. Needless to say, I had a pool party that afternoon 🎉 and had one too many tequila shots during the day celebrating the Mexican victory over the French. 🍻 When the night came, I was more interested in Club Bed featuring DJ Sheets, 🛌 I was selling out on the night! 😴 At some point, Melissa asked Jenny to grab her phone and text me to see what my status was. 📲 Jenny and I began to chat and hit it off right away.!! 😍 Here is where the tequila worked in my benefit! I worked up the courage and asked Jenny on a date. 😬 We went on our first date the following weekend. The spark was lit that night, ✨ I knew Jenny and I could have a wonderful life together and the rest is history. 💍

Let me tell you what really happened! It was the year of 2010, one day in December. ❄️ I was ready to go home from work when I received a call from David. 👀 When I answered, he said, “Hi my name is David Miller and I’m new to the hospital. I need help booking a conference room. Melissa [Jenny’s Boss] asked me to call you if I needed help.” I was a little annoyed since I wanted to go home. 🙄 I sat back in my chair and I started talking to him about how to book a conference room. The more I engaged in that conversation the more I was entrained with his voice. After that day, I never heard nor spoke to him again. A year later, I finally met him. I remember that day like it was yesterday 😻 and the crush had become stronger. 💪🏽 After several times trying to flirt with him, I decided to quit. He didn’t bite the bait. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Sometimes you need to concentrate on you and let destiny work its magic. Then came 5 de Mayo, the day he requested me on Facebook. That day Melissa asked me to text him to see if he was coming SLS, but of course he was not. I gave back her phone and forgot all about it. 10 minutes later, while I was dancing, 💃🏽 I received a friend request from him. I was so excited 🙃 and I immediately accepted. ✔️ We talked until 3 am that night and the love has been burning ever since. 😘 🔥
